• On track moves for position only, not counting passes made in pits, lapped cars, cars unlapping, on cars off track or spun, team orders etc…
• Overtaking data is just interesting data it does not show how entertaining the race is

Suspected Overtakes

• Unfortunately due to F1’s decision to restrict the use of certain technologies to access F1TV that they ironically advertise in their official podcasts. I now cannot check the onboards as I have been doing in the past so there are a few additional possible overtakes. If anyone could help that would be very appreciated.
• Lap 44 Piastri and Stroll briefly swapped positions on the timing tower. It only counts as an overtake if the car is fully ahead.
• Lap 49 Albon and Norris likewise were seen briefly swapping positions on the timing tower.

Some Stats

• Hamilton/Lawson/Perez/Piastri/Sainz all did the most overtakes this race with 3.
• Hulkenberg and Stroll were the most overtaken drivers this race both with 4.
• Perez has done the most overtakes this season with 60. Russell is second with 45 and Zhou is 3rd with 39.
• Hulkenberg is the most overtaken driver this season with 69. Magnussen is second with 68 and Bottas is 3rd with 63.
• Verstappen is still yet to be overtaken this season. I saw a post on reddit earlier today which suggest Sainz overtook him on Lap 15. This does not count as an overtake in this data as Sainz did not get fully ahead of Verstappen.
